Item 1: To-Do Lists
To-do lists are one of my absolute favorite tools for managing the daily chaos. There’s something incredibly calming about getting all the swirling thoughts out of my brain and onto paper (or an app). It’s like decluttering my mental space just enough to breathe again.
Whether it’s a classic handwritten list with colorful pens or a simple digital checklist on my phone, to-do lists help me prioritize, stay focused, and actually see my progress — which is super motivating on tough days. I often break tasks down into small steps so I can keep the momentum going (yes, “shower” and “make coffee” absolutely count).
Some days, just writing the list is enough. Other days, checking even one box feels like a win. And that’s okay. My to-do lists aren’t about perfection — they’re about direction. Gentle structure. A tiny bit of clarity in the storm.
