Item 18: Breath Work / Meditation
On the days when my mind feels like chaos, breathing becomes my anchor. A few slow inhales, a pause, a longer exhale, and suddenly.. I'm a little less tangled in the chaos.
Meditation doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes I listen to a guided voice, sometimes I dance or stare at the sky. I think meditation can be anything that grounds you and brings you back to the present moment, not everyone has to have the same definition of it. Breath work helps me regulate my nervous system and feel more in control of my energy, especially when I'm overstimulated or anxious.
